Down to the valley in a go-kart, complete with a mountain panorama
At the Hörnerbahn mountain station in Bolsterlang, you can rent a go-kart and then let the wind blow around your nose on the 600-meter descent to the valley station while enjoying the fantastic view of the Allgäu Alps. And don't worry: Thanks to the thick tires and the stability of the go-kart, as well as the helmet and protective suit, the route down from the Bolsterlanger Horn is completely safe.
Nevertheless, you should adjust your speed to the condition of the path – especially on the sometimes very steep tarmac road to the valley station. And always drive with foresight; this isn't a bumper car ride :)
Park your car in the free parking lot right at the Hörnerbahn valley station. You can either take the comfortable 6-seater gondola or walk up in about 90 minutes.
Once you reach the top, a stunning view of the Riedberger Horn, the Illertal Valley, and the Allgäu main ridge awaits you. Once you've absorbed these impressions, the downhill adventure can begin!
