Mountain Carts in Sölden - Tyrol's Longest Mountain Cart Track
Normally, the track is intended for tobogganing in winter. But now you can also quickly get down to the valley in summer with mountain carts. On a 7.3 km long track, you race from the Gaislachkogl middle station down to Sölden, conquering more than 800 meters in altitude.
A mountain cart is an off-road go-kart with a width of one meter and a low center of gravity, which ensures safety. These little things offer real action potential for racers of all ages. Thanks to their easy operation, children *from 10 years* and a height of 130 cm can drive the mountain carts themselves.
Young co-pilots under 6 years old can ride on their parents' laps. Two brakes allow for quick stopping and provide experienced drivers with fun drifting around the curves.
Where can I rent a mountain cart?
You can pick up the off-road go-karts at the Gaislachkoglbahn middle station in front of the tunnel. You can return them in front of the bus parking garage opposite the Gaislachkoglbahn valley station. It's a 25-minute drive from the Explorer Hotel Ötztal.
Are you ready to really step on the gas? ;)
