Lake Millstatt in Winter
Lake Millstatt is also busy in winter. In addition to the local mountain, Goldeck, you'll find seven other ski resorts within easy reach where you can really work up a sweat. The ice on Carinthia's deepest lake is usually not thick enough for ice skating.
