The high ropes course at the family mountain in Oberstdorf in the Allgäu region
The Söllereck is Oberstdorf's family mountain and a popular family hiking area in summer. Germany's highest forest ropes course, located right next to the Schönblick mountain hut at the mountain station, awaits you and your kids.
The high ropes course at the Söllereck in the Allgäu region is located at 1,400 meters and can be reached on foot. If your children have had enough of hiking, you can also take the Söllereckbahn cable car up to the top and save your energy for the climbing adventure! After all, there are 8 courses with a total of 70 elements! If you haven't exhausted your energy reserves yet, a ride on the Allgäu Coaster, the toboggan run at Söllereck, is also worthwhile.
Children ages 6 and older are allowed to use the climbing forest if accompanied by an adult, and children ages 12 and older can use it independently (with written consent from a parent or guardian).
Parking is available at the Söllereckbahn car park.
