Hit the slopes at Hocheck!
Small, versatile and uncomplicated – around 8 kilometers of slopes await you at the Hocheck adventure mountain in Oberaudorf. The runs are mostly easy to intermediate, making them ideal for families , beginners and anyone who wants to ski without a lot of fuss.
A four-person chairlift and several drag lifts will quickly take you back to the top. Thanks to artificial snowmaking, Hocheck is snow-sure.
The highlight: Night skiing on Germany's longest floodlit slope
Anyone can ski during the day. At Hocheck, the fun continues after sunset. After Christmas, you can enjoy skiing under floodlights on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays from 6:30 pm to 9:00 pm .
And the best part: the slopes are freshly groomed before night skiing. Floodlights on, skis on, and off for another run. This makes Hocheck one of the special spots for everyone who hasn't had enough of the slopes even after sunset.
Toboggan back down to the valley
Fancy two runners instead of two skis? The approximately 3 km long, TÜV-certified winter toboggan run offers a welcome change of pace for your winter day. You can easily reach the start with the 4-person chairlift. Alternatively, you can hike up to the mountain inn via the cleared Hocheck road . Allow about an hour for this. Important: Walking uphill on the toboggan run itself is prohibited. Conveniently, lift tickets are valid for both skiing and tobogganing.
Snowboarding as well as tobogganing. You don't necessarily need your own sled. You can rent toboggans directly at the rental center at the valley station . And the winter day continues into the evening with tobogganing: On floodlit evenings, the toboggan run is illuminated, and the toboggan rental is open from 6:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Since it's a natural toboggan run, operation is always dependent on snow, temperature, and weather.
How to get to the ski resort
