The most beautiful mountain lake in Ramsau near Berchtesgaden: Lake Hintersee
You may already know the lake from many photos or even from some paintings, as Lake Hintersee in Ramsau has been a popular motif for numerous landscape painters. Lake Hintersee in Berchtesgaden is one of the coldest bathing lakes in Bavaria, so even in summer, you'll need a bit of courage to cool off in the lake. :)
If the lake is too cold for you, you can explore the cool waters in a pedal boat or rowboat, or relax on the sunny terrace. Please note that the lake does not have a lido.
A multifaceted lake in Upper Bavaria
