Dive into the history of Nesselwang with a visit to the local history museum.
On 500 m² of exhibition space, you can see the diverse uses of the local history house as a former craftsman's stable in the 19th century. Here you'll find not only a glassmaker's workshop and old living quarters, but also a small farm with a stable, where you can trace the transformation of agriculture in the Allgäu region. At the same time, you'll learn a great deal about the history of the market town of Nesselwang.
The Ski History exhibition at the Nesselwang Local History Museum tells the numerous ski stories of Nesselwang's successful athletes over the years. Here you can learn exciting facts about the Nordic combined athlete Franz Keller, who won the 1968 Winter Olympics in Grenoble, or about the three-time Olympic biathlon champion from Turin 2006, Michael Greis.
Open every Wednesday from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.
