The Haus der Berge (House of the Mountains) National Park Center features fantastic exhibitions on the themes of water, forest, alpine pastures, and rock, which can be experienced on the Panorama Trail and the nature experience area around the house. A visit is definitely worthwhile not only for families with children, but also for anyone who wants to learn more about the natural environment of the Alps in Berchtesgaden. And who would want to miss the fantastic view of the Jenner or Watzmann from here in good weather?
The Haus der Berge also has a cinema, changing exhibitions, and, of course, a restaurant for a quick bite to eat ;-)
