The Obersalzberg Documentation Center is a place of learning and remembrance. It explores the history of the Obersalzberg and the Nazi dictatorship.
Regular events, public tours, and a comprehensive educational program complement the permanent exhibition. The Obersalzberg Documentation Center is professionally supervised by the Institute for Contemporary History Munich-Berlin. In addition to the permanent exhibition, a diverse educational program for groups is offered – whether tours or workshops!
The bus stop for the Kehlsteinhaus is just a few meters from the Obersalzberg Documentation Center. If you would like to combine your visit to the Obersalzberg with a hike, the Carl von Linde Trail starts at the Documentation Center.
Parking and a bus stop are located directly at the Documentation Center. You can also take the Obersalzberg funicular up and walk to the Documentation Center in 25 minutes.
