Panoramic view of Carinthia's lakes and mountains
The observation tower was built in 2013 on the summit of the Pyramidenkogel, offering a 360-degree view of Carinthia's lakes and mountains. The tower head, with two viewing platforms and the "skybox," was placed on top of the 67-meter-high structure. The tower is topped off by an 18-meter-high antenna.
You can reach the viewing platform at a height of almost 71 meters via 441 steps or the panoramic elevator with a view. The "Skybox" on the 9th floor, which is completely glass-walled, makes the Pyramidenkogel observation tower a fantastic experience, even in wind and weather.
Highlight: Giant Slide
The absolute highlight of this observation tower is Europe's highest enclosed building slide, which descends 120 meters from a height of 52 meters to the ground floor.
If you'd rather just admire the tower from below, you'll find a restaurant serving all kinds of delicacies in the main building.
