Tobogganing fun all year round
The Alpspitze is definitely worth a visit during your Allgäu holiday in Nesselwang, as it offers several highlights, including the AlpspitzCOASTER – a toboggan run that's open year-round! Just a few steps from the Explorer Hotel Neuschwanstein, you'll find the Alpspitzbahn, where the toboggan run's entry and exit points are located in the valley.
A fun-filled ride on the Alpspitzbahn
From the cable car, you'll first be transported comfortably up in your toboggan. Once you reach the top, you'll whizz down the approx. 1,110 m long toboggan run at a maximum speed of 40 km/h, over waves, jumps, roundabouts, bridges, and a tunnel, back down to the valley.
For the night owls among you and those who spend their winter holidays in Nesselwang, we have of course also thought of you: In winter, the floodlights are on until 7 p.m., so the entire facility is illuminated!
You should also know:
- No boarding at the middle station!
- Children 8 years and older and a minimum height of 135 cm are allowed to use the toboggan run alone.
- Children 3-7 years are only allowed to use the coaster together with an "older person" (from 8 years) and a minimum height of 135 cm.
- The toboggan run is equipped with the latest safety features such as seat belt locks, distance control, and cruise control.
